Daily Hive ft. Dinner by Design

Hi everyone and welcome back to the SSC blog!

Our team has been working hard on lots of new and exciting projects that we can't wait to share with you! One of our most recent ones being a bar done for Dinner by Design, an event where local designers and manufacturers come together to showcase their talent and expertise over music, drinks, and all around fun.

We worked alongside Birdman The Welder, Sherwood Cabinetry, Portmanteau Stereo, and Cosentino to create a fun and unique bar area. You can find out more information on this project in the new Daily Hive feature article where our very own Director of Operations, Quinn Prince, is interviewed on his creative process!

Also make sure to check out our Instagram and Twitter page for finished projects and updates! In the meantime, here's a sneak peak from the Daily Hive interview as well as a few gorgeous installations we've recently completed, which can also be found (along with others) on our Projects page (photography courtesy of Calvin Owen Jones).

Until next time,

The SSC Team

THE NEW SSC

Hello everyone, and welcome to our brand new website!

First off, we'd like to give a huge thanks to Blair Farrington, who helped us craft our new image into something that represents exactly the new direction in which we have been heading: a new, fresh look that represents the precision and clarity of our work. A lot of time and effort went into creating this new logo, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Next up, we've been making some gradual changes to our showroom and storefront over the last little while. First it started with cleaning up the outside of our showroom, getting rid of some out-of-control greenery as well as some old tiles that we had in place for quite awhile. There are still some updates to be made, but it is a start!

In addition to getting our vehicles wrapped with our new image, our team worked together to create a HUGE new sign above our showroom. Made entirely out of Corian and crafted custom with our CNC machines, our new sign should be visible all the way from Richmond (or you will at least be able to catch a glimpse when crossing the Arthur Lang Bridge)!

Below you can see all hands on deck, which exemplifies our team's approach to all projects at SSC. We are so proud of the growth of our team over the last year. Big changes are still coming for us here at SSC, and we'll keep you updated as they come! For now, we just want to say we're excited about where we are heading, and look forward to both working with those that have been with us for a long time, not to mention those that we will meet in the new future! Be sure to stay up to date with us via Instagram, and subscribe to our blog if you'd like to stay up to date with exciting projects as they come our way!
